Brownie is a pretty BLUE, unraced girl, who has just turned 2! She was hand raised as she was the only puppy in the litter. Because of this she can be a little spoiled and will need a home with an experienced large dog owner along with rules and boundaries. With a little time invested, she will be an awesome friend for life!
Pick a card. Any card. No… not that one! Okay so we may not be talented magicians here at GAP but we do have one crowd pleasing trick up our sleeve… Introducing the magical, the fantastical, the adorable DYNAMO! With 8 years of magical wisdom under her belt, Dynamo is a relaxed and gentle old soul looking for a peaceful retirement. She would suit a quieter home without younger children or other pets. Dynamo is fine with full time workers as this will give her plenty of time to practice her grand illusions such as camouflaging herself into her pile of blankets for hours. Her relaxed nature also makes her suitable for apartment living but if this were the case she would prefer someone around a little more often to take her out to toilet and stretch her legs. Dynamo loves to go for walks and has even mastered one of the hardest tricks of all: stairs! She would prefer to start off with shorter walks in quieter areas rather than epic adventures as she builds her confidence on the stage of pet life. When you get home she will gladly recharge quietly backstage on her cosy bed and has even shown us she likes spending time curled up in an open crate. So apply within if you are in need of your very own magical assistant but beware that she may just steal the show! Dynamo is available from the 1st of September on a foster-to-adopt basis at our Western Sydney facility.
A large and stunning golden boy with an engine that is ready to go! Chev is a rather large boy and at nearly 4yo he certainly isn’t shy of acting his silly self. Chev very much enjoys playing ball and eating yummy treats. The energy doesn’t last long however and soon settles to bed, exhaust-ed! Chev is slowly learning how to gently approach his doggy friends, a lot of the time he doesn’t realise just how big he is! With a lot of size, comes a lot of love! He absolutely adores the company of humans but he can cope for a considerable period alone or would like to have a robust larger canine for company for the longer hours alone. Due to Chev’s size and excitable nature, it would be best for his home to have teenage+ or no children and a yard for his play time. Chev is currently available for adoption through our Wyee facility.
Looking for something a bit different to sweeten up in your home? You know the sort that is a bit like a licorice all-sort which has a bit of everything but has that unique taste? Then Candy may be exactly what you're looking for. She is young at only 2, tiny at 24kg, bright and bubbly but also has the perfect off button when needed as well. Being young she has a bit of the old fashioned humbug in her that will need some work, like walking on the lead respectfully to name a few things but with a bit of time and patience this little humbug will turn into the most delicious smooth coated caramel soft center you have ever known. Candy needs a full size yard with access to it during the day, a bucket load of patience and a family that enjoys the same life values as her - like everyday is like a box of chocolates :) She is fine for casual/part time workers but not someone who is away all all day every day but no kids under 12 please and she is best suited on her own or with another greyhound companion. Sounds like your gal? Then apply now as she will last as long as a bag of party mix at a kids party!
*Toby has recently gone into foster care - updates coming soon!* Introducing Mr Tobias G. Hound, known only to his closest friends (i.e. every single person he meets) as Toby. This fine gentleman is looking for a forever family where he will be the centre of attention, so a home without any other pets would be best. Toby is a very sweet and affectionate boy who loves nothing more than getting as many pats and scritches as you’re willing to give! He would prefer not to spend the whole day waiting for his humans to come home and adore him, so he is suitable for households that are away for part-time hours during the day maximum. Toby is happy to share his home with older kids, but due to his love for zoomies and comically tossing his toys around rambunctiously in between naps, he requires home without any young children. Toby has beautiful lead manners and will happily trot along beside you on your morning walk - he’ll even help you make friends with people walking by as he bounds towards them to say hello and solicit pats! Did we mention this clever boy would do anything for a treat? He has even learned to walk up and down stairs and will look expectantly at you afterwards for his yummy reward! With his good looks to match his charming personality, we think this boy is a catch! Submit an application to take Toby home on a foster-to-adopt basis today!

This is a test dog profile named Goldie.
Just like the beautiful stone he is named for, this boy is an absolute gem! Meet Jasper, the delightful 4-year-old greyhound with a unique love of life! Jasper is a happy and playful boy that will bring endless entertainment and joy into any home! He has been working hard on his lead manners during his stay at GAP and we would recommend walking him on a harness.
Like my name my personality is gold. I am very friendly and love to have a chat. I would be happy chillin' by myself or hanging with my mates. I love toys and am very outgoing. I am looking for a new best friend and if you think you might be the one make sure you contact the girls, being the stud that I am I won’t be around for long.
Cal is the perfect retired person's dream dog. No spring chicken himself, he is very laid back with a divine nature all of his own and his favourite moments are when he gets a brush and once tea is over he is out like a light on his mat dreaming of the next days lazy activities of - not a lot. Cal needs a full sized yard so no townhouse or apartments please and if ideal to be the only dog for the only reason that he wants all the attention on him as you do. If you're looking for a calm, quiet, easy going hound to share your digs with then Cal may very well be the dude you need

See a Penny pick her up, forever and ever you will have your luck!
“Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% paw-spiration!” – Greyhound Eddison.
Down on your luck lately? Paddy may just be your lucky charm!
Take my paw,
Look out Klum there is a new supermodel in town! She’s blue with golden brown eyes, has a pearly white smile and has a bounding heart of energy that enjoys bouncy fun balls! Here comes Heidi, she is full of life and never fails to make you giggle on a daily basis. She very much enjoys her toys and a quick zoom around her yard. Heidi tends to get a little excited when meeting new canine friends but after a quick hello she continues to strut her stuff as she passes by. As Heidi is quite the exuberant girl, teenage+ or no children would be best as she may accidentally knock smaller children. She would highly benefit in home with a yard with her new humans to be home more often than not and of course access to as many toys as possible. Heidi is ready to walk her paw prints into her new home now, she is located at our Central Coast facility.
Golden locks, beautiful, HILARIOUS – What else do Amy Schumer and greyhound Amy have in common? Probably not the ability to captivate an entire audience on stage, but greyhound Amy can definitely capture your heart from right here at our lil ole’ adoption centre. Amy is the epitome of happy-go-lucky! She has a bubbly and bright personality with the looks to match. Her tail is always wagging and she’s always up for some fun. She’s super food motivated which will come in handy for settling her into her new home. She’s still perfecting those leash manners though we have no doubt she’ll pick it up real quick for tasty treats. She will suit a variety of homes including those with another med/lrg canine, those without other canines, full-time workers or casuals, older children that she can’t knock over, younger paw-rents or older. She’s not fussed. She does however require a backyard and no small pets/cats. If you’re looking for a fun-loving lady to join your home, look no further. Amy is available at our Western Sydney facility now.
Georgie Porgie puddin’ and pie Kissed the girls and made them cry When all the hounds came out to play Georgie Porgie ran away – and landed at GAP Wyee, where none of us are crying about having him here! Introducing the young and silly boy George! What’s not to love about this guy? He’s handsome, he’s playful, he’s friendly and he has a whole lotta personality to keep you on your toes. If you’re after a lifelong pal to guide and teach, to play and to explore with and mostly importantly, to love – George is the hound for you. George is only 1 year old and has a lot of life yet to experience. With his young age though comes little training so you’ll need to be prepared to teach him the basics and give him some patience whilst he figures it out. He can be a bit of a handful but his happy wiggly bottom and sweet nature will make you forget all about that. George would benefit from having part-time workers for paw-rents or perhaps full-time if he has a canine sibling. Older children would be best as he isn’t exactly careful, and he is not suited to living with kittie cats. Georgie boy is located at our Central Coast facility and awaits your kisses – oops we mean call.
Money Money Money!! Always sunny. In a rich man’s world!
*Bondi has recently gone into foster care - updates coming soon!*
Handsome, stylish and a whole lot of fun – this Ken may not be made of plastic but there’s no denying that he’s fantastic! 2-year-old Ken loves to play with his toys (he has a special love for tennis balls in particular) and would benefit from having a spacious backyard to frolic in. He thoroughly enjoys his walkies and although he can be excited at first, once he finds his stride he walks beautifully on loose leash. Ken’s enthusiasm and joy for life makes him best suited living with teens and up. Don’t get the wrong idea though, this sweet boy is also known for standing quietly next to you for as many pats as he can get or leaning in to you when the ear scratches are on point! Ken has shown us he is polite and friendly towards other medium/large dogs and is hoping his new home might just have a Barbie (or Barney) waiting for him to play with. With a canine friend to hang out with, Ken is suitable for part-time or full-time workers. If you would prefer to have him all to yourself, he is suitable for those who work part-time or casual hours maximum. As Ken can be entertained for hours with a frozen stuffed Kong, he is perfect for those who work from home and want a laugh and some doggy affection on their breaks. This gorgeous white and black boy hasn’t been snapped up yet – Ken you believe it?! Put in an application today to take Ken home to your dollhouse on a foster-to-adopt basis.
*Loki has recently gone into foster care. Updates coming soon!*
My name is Ken, anyone needs those Pipes checking out, then I’m your man. I will help you around the house (unless I’m curled up on the couch) and the only payment I will request is a leisurely daily walk, oh, and food of cause. I will work and keep you company (not in that order) just for a bit of love. If you would like to meet me and think I would be the right fit for your family don’t dilly daddle as with my personality I won’t be around for long
Zoey & Lara! The 2 10yo sisters that have spent most of their lives as pets with an older owner who unfortunately could no longer keep them. They are the sweetest girls with personalities to match. They love being inside on their beds with the odd trip to outside for a quick stretch and toilet. They have adjusted incredibly well since coming into our facility and don’t have any trouble with toileting, going for gentle strolls or travelling. We feel they would benefit a quieter lifestyle during their retirement but do not require a large yard as they spend most of their days snoozing away. A home with full-time workers would be okay for them, although if their humans wanted to stay home a little more often they would be ecstatic with that too! Gentle and respectable children are certainly not out of the question for this lovely pair, as long as they had their space and quiet time.
Pink is currently in foster care. Here are some updates from her carer:
