Douglas the handsome houndie is looking for his fur-ever home. With eyes as bright as headlights, a helicopter tail that almost achieves lift off and a sporty white stripe on his nose (to help him go faster, we think), it’s impossible not to love this wiggly little bean! Doug loves nothing more than being around his people receiving as many pats and scritches as you’re willing to give. However, he’s also happy to spend a few hours alone during the day making him suitable for part-time or casual workers. If his new home was located in a nice quiet neighbourhood (so as to not interrupt his busy napping schedule) he would even be fine to spend full-time hours alone. Doug has shown us he is polite and friendly towards other medium/large breed dogs and would be pleased to share his new home and humans with one. If there’s one thing we know for sure about Doug, it’s that he loves his food! This silly boy will do anything for a treat and can be entertained easily by a stuffed frozen Kong or a treat scatter in the grass. Before you know it this cutie will have Doug his way into your heart forever! Doug is available at our Western Sydney facility on a foster-to-adopt basis. Note: Doug has previously had corns removed from his feet. Please speak to GAP staff for further details.
As well as being behaviourally assessed, Doug has:
